In today's episode, Natalie Roy of the C.R.E.A.T.E. Community joins me to talk about creativity, art, and yoga. Natalie is an actress, author and spiritual teacher. She's performed and taught all over the world on stage and screen. She’s also a 500-hour certified Yoga Teacher and a meditation teacher. Natalie brings together the practices and techniques of meditation, mindfulness and “learned optimism” with the artistic process. She co-founded C.R.E.A.T.E with her best friend Kristin Hanggi, a fellow teacher of spiritually-based creative pursuits and the developer and director of the broadway hit Rock of Ages.
We talk about the opportunities life presents to live each moment as a creative expression. We mention some great books and authors:
- Big Magic, by Elizabeth Gilbert;
- the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, a new translation of which Alan Finger and Wendy Newton are publishing under the title, Tantra of the Yoga Sutras;
- the Bhagavad Gita.
- author Wayne Dyer
- author Esther Hicks
